For the events committee, summer and fall is our busiest season! It usually takes about six to eight weeks to plan our events, with the exception of fundraisers like Parkdale Pet Fest, where planning begins in January for the September event. We just wrapped up our Stampede Breakfast (thanks for joining!); here is what we have coming up next:
Parkdale Pet Fest
Saturday, September 9, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
This is our annual fundraising event; it’s an outdoor event with over 70 vendors along 34 Street between 5 and 7 Avenues. We have Super Dogs again this year with several shows throughout the day and wiener dog races are back! Everyone is welcome. It’s free and pet-friendly.
Oktollerfest 2023 with Screaming Toller Beer
Saturday, September 23
Calgary’s only dog and family-friendly Oktoberfest is back again at Parkdale Hub! All funds raised through beer sales will be donated to the PCA! More information is to come on this now annual Parkdale event.
