Want to Get More Involved? Volunteer!
Looking to connect with your neighbours and give back to your community? Volunteering with the RCA is a great way to do both! We can’t put these events and programs on without you!
We’re always looking for helping hands in a variety of areas:
Events (short, two- to six-hour commitments): Easter Hunt, Community Cleanup, Lego Competition, Car Show, Neighbour Day, Community Amazing Race, Bingo, Dog Park Mayor, Winter Wonderland, and Light It Up.
Programs: Encore Club (retired residents, Tuesdays), Friday Creatives Club (monthly craft nights). Teach a class, share your knowledge and skills with the community!
Garden Club: Help tidy planters, maintain the edible forest, plant flowers, water, and weed (weather permitting – supplies provided).
Food Hamper Program: Assist with date checking and organizing donations, donation pickups, and Monday hamper pickups.
Rink Rats: Help prep, shovel, and flood the rink. Training and equipment are provided.
Handy Helpers: Build benches and planters, paint, and help with small repairs. All supplies are provided.
