Parade of Garage Sales Returns June 6 (Tentative!)
There’s something about a community garage sale that just feels like the start of summer — neighbours chatting on driveways, kids running lemonade stands, and the thrill of finding that perfect treasure for $2.
We are tentatively aiming for June 6, with final confirmation coming once we know the date of the Community Cleanup Day, so the two events don’t conflict.
What’s New (and What’s Staying the Same)
Maria Cristofara has once again generously stepped up through her real estate team to support the event. Her team will organize the online registration for residents hosting garage sales at their homes, making it simple and streamlined.
For those who don’t want to host at home, there will be a redirect during registration to the Community Association for residents who would prefer to participate in a “Trunk Sale” in the parking lot. RCA staff will coordinate and support that portion of the event.
To help everyone wrap up the day smoothly, we’re planning to have a “junk” removal vendor available in the parking lot again this year.
And by popular demand — printed maps will be available this year – many garage sale enthusiasts told us how helpful those were.
