Free Tax Clinic Coming to Ranchlands Community Association
The Ranchlands Community Association (RCA) is proud to host a free Tax Clinic for eligible residents through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP).
Tax season can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our trained, volunteer tax preparers are here to help you file your taxes safely, confidentially, and at no cost. The goal of the CVITP is simple: to make sure community members can access the benefits and credits they’re entitled to without financial barriers.
Who Can Use the Tax Clinic?
This clinic is designed for individuals with a modest income and a simple tax situation, including:
• Seniors
• Students
• Newcomers to Canada
• Individuals with disabilities
• Low-income individuals or families
• Anyone who meets CVITP eligibility criteria
What Services Are Provided?
• Completion and e-filing of simple tax returns
• Assistance accessing government benefits and tax credits
• Friendly, respectful, community-based support
