The Ranchlands Food Pantry

The Ranchlands Food Pantry team is now supported by 13 volunteers across seven unique roles. By the end of May, we will have averaged 2.5 hamper requests per week, with roughly 70% of these requests coming from families with children under the age of 12.

If you or someone you know in the community is facing food insecurity, the Ranchlands Food Pantry is here to help. You can request a hamper from our community webpage at http://ranchlandscommunity.com under the ‘Programs’ section. Please note that due to limited resources, we can only support Ranchlanders at this time.

Items in Need

If you’re looking to contribute to a cause that directly benefits your community, please consider donating items in high demand, such as cereal, canned soups, vegetables, and fruits. Toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, and toilet paper are also often requested items. Donations can be dropped off at the Ranchlands Community Association RFP box, conveniently located in the foyer at 7713 Ranchview Drive NW. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join us in making a difference! We’re actively searching for individuals to fill two new roles. The first role involves organizing donations on the counter prior to hamper pickups from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on the first and third Monday of every month. The second role covers the same task on the second and last Monday of each month.

If you’re interested in volunteering or have questions, please email [email protected]. Your commitment and support significantly contribute to the success of our community initiatives.

Thank you for your support!
