Park visitors can now pre-book an All-Terrain Wheelchair (ATW) for free to explore select parks with an individual that could benefit from using a mobility device. The All-Terrain Wheelchairs (ATW) are available at North Glenmore Park and Prairie Winds Park.
An all-terrain wheelchair is a special type of wheelchair designed to allow users to visit places and landscapes that would otherwise be inaccessible. These wheelchairs have extra-wide wheels or skis to increase stability on uneven or unsteady terrain, including sand, snow, and water.
