Happy Holidays, Tuxedo Park!
As 2018 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on all our board and volunteers have accomplished. Even with considerable setbacks, our Facilities Committee has managed to complete three-quarters of our planned renovations; we’ve welcomed new volunteers on our board, on our committees, and at our events; we’ve seen the community of Tuxedo come together; and our little hall is running better than ever—a direct result of the hard work of our wonderful staff.
While the TPCA Board is volunteer-run, we’re lucky to have a fantastic group who make sure our hall is always in top shape and filled with events, programs, and special occasions. Shannon, Christina, Wendell, and Louise always make us, and our community, look great!
As you can see on our list of volunteer positions in this issue, we’ve had a few vacancies filled—but, we still have plenty more available. If you’d like to volunteer with us in 2019, we’d love to hear from you. With our casino running in February, we’re even offering two free movie passes for every shift worked (plus dinner and snacks at the Elbow River Casino, and our gratitude!). Sign up today and join us for a great weekend of fundraising. https://www.volunteersignup.org/CDCMX
Thank you, Tuxedo Park, for another marvellous year! I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas, and the best of the season,
Anne Johnson
President, TPCA
