Happy New Year, Tuxedo! I hope 2020 brings you health, happiness, and prosperity.

At the TPCA, we’ll be continuing to restore our Lower Hall. This will be a major renovation of the space—new floors, new drywall, new cabinets, and new washrooms. By the time we’re done, the flood of 2019 will be a distant memory!

We’ll be preparing for our AGM in March, getting our financials organized, and looking forward to new programming and events. We’ll also be welcoming new volunteers and board members; however, we always have room for more! If you’d like to help your community, meet your neighbours, and have a bit of fun, join us!

I was reminded this year of how wonderful it is to volunteer as a family within the community. At our Santa Breakfast, we had kids of all ages helping out and feeling great about themselves. Some of them have volunteered for years and are now all grownup, others were with us for the first time and they all had a lot of fun. As did their parents and grandparents who accompanied them. Volunteering is a wonderful way to spend time together while helping and getting to know our neighbours. Contact us today for more information on all the ways you can get involved.
