Ah, the fall season! It’s always great to see the kids back at school and the season change in full swing.
This past summer has been transformative for the TPCA and our outdoor space. We started with the opening of the fantastic new beach volleyball courts, then the creation of our new mural, and art installation along the Centre Street fence. We’ve also seen the start of the demolition of the annex portion of the old Tuxedo Park school, a first step in that site’s reclamation.
We thank Dustyn Richardson, our Arts Procurement Manager, for bringing new colour and vibrancy to our space. His work over the past year has been incredible. I’m also thankful to our board for bravely supporting the arts in our community and backing these projects.
As the board gets back to work, we’re looking forward to welcoming new members and volunteers as we continue to break new ground to further improve our community. Want to join us? Contact me today to explore volunteer opportunities with the TPCA.
