Spring is in the air…
Another month has flown by at Preschool, filled with excitement and learning! We had a
blast exploring our winter animals topic and spreading love on Valentine’s Day. During this
time we emphasized the importance of being good friends by teaching skills like
cooperation, sharing, giving compliments, and apologizing. This year, some of our Preschool
Students have enjoyed teaming up with Grade eight and nine students from Queen Elizabeth High School to support them in their leadership classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for all the
students, big and small. Our little ones are always thrilled to meet their older peers and
have a blast engaging in various games and activities and the older students reciprocated
the enthusiasm, enjoying the interactive environment.
February was a busy month! We finished our skating lessons and started a new set of dance
lessons. Skating was always a blast! It was great to see the kids on the ice, having fun with
their friends. Some of them were first timers, so it was lovely to see them standing and
stomping around. Others were using the skills they’ve learned at home or in lessons. They
all did a great job, and the teachers were so proud of them!
The fun will continue into March! Get ready for a month filled with exploration, creativity,
and fun! We can’t wait to see the little ones thrive as they continue to learn and grow
together.
