The West Hillhurst Community Preschool is a vibrant learning environment where children can play, grow, and thrive. We offer morning and afternoon classes for three- and four-year-olds in both English and Spanish bilingual. Our bright and inviting classroom, located on the second floor of the West Hillhurst community centre, provides a conducive space for children to engage in play-based learning.
Our exceptional teaching staff employs a play-based curriculum to help children develop essential social, emotional, and intellectual skills that will lay a strong foundation for future academic success. Additionally, our location offers access to the in-house facilities of the West Hillhurst community centre, including the gym, ice rink, and soccer field, providing children with opportunities for physical activity and exploration.
As a parent-run preschool, we recognize the significance of parent involvement in enhancing our programs. Throughout the year, we offer various volunteer opportunities, such as roles on the Executive Committee and the Special Events team, to help make playdough.
Above all, we strive to create a warm and caring classroom where children can learn through play while meeting the diverse physical, social, intellectual, creative, and emotional needs of each individual child.
