Dear West Hillhurst Community,
In November our thoughts turn to Remembrance Day and the importance of pausing to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served, and continue to serve, for our freedom. This is a time for our community to come together in gratitude and remembrance, honouring the courage, resilience, and dedication of veterans and their families.
At the West Hillhurst Community Association, we encourage all neighbours to take a moment on November 11 to remember in your own way—whether through attending a local ceremony, wearing a poppy, or simply taking a moment of silence. These small acts of remembrance help ensure that the legacy of those who gave so much will never be forgotten.
