Exciting News – Ice Skating Pad Coming This Summer!
Over the past two years, the Chaparral Community Association (CCA) has worked closely with the City of Calgary to bring a permanent ice-skating pad to our neighbourhood. We’re thrilled to share that permits have been approved, and installation is scheduled for this summer!
A dedicated group of volunteers has worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality, and we can’t wait for the community to enjoy this exciting new feature.

The CCA hosts a wide variety of fun events throughout the year, including:
• Murder Mystery Nights
• Easter Egg Hunt
• Stampede Kick-Off Breakfast (co-hosted with the Lake Chaparral Residents Association)
• End of Summer Bash
• Skate with Santa
• Festival of Lights

Our monthly board meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of each month, and everyone is welcome to attend. Many hands make light work—and we’d love to have you involved!
