Spring isn’t far away, so if you haven’t already started thinking about your gardens and what to plant, now’s the time! Not enough space, or not enough direct sun in your yard? Why not rent a garden plot with the DouglasQuarry Community Garden! Located in Douglasdale in the field across from Swifty’s and beside the hockey rink, we have 4’x8’ raised garden beds available, with easy access to water. Beds are just $40.00 with a current DouglasQuarry Community Membership, both are available online at www.dqca.ca or contact Hilary at [email protected] with any questions. Those who register will be able to join us for an incredibly informative evening with Janet Melrose, from the Calgary Horticultural Society, on April 15, 2026.
