Hello Legacy Neighbours!
November is here, and with it comes a season of reflection, gratitude, and community spirit. I want to start by sending a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined our Halloween Trick or Trunk! It was amazing to see so many families dressed up, enjoying treats, and bringing the Halloween spirit to Legacy. A special thank you goes out to the volunteers who braved the chilly evening and the residents who decorated their trunks — you made the night unforgettable for the kids.
Light Up Legacy – December 13
The holiday season is one of my favourite times of year, and I’m thrilled to invite you to our annual Light Up Legacy celebration! Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, behind the Orange Playground at Legacy Small Pond.
We’ll have Santa photos, fire pits, hot chocolate to keep warm, and visits from special holiday characters. It’s the perfect way to gather with friends, family, and neighbours — and yes, pets on leash are welcome too!
Giving Back Together
During Light Up Legacy only, we will be collecting donations for The Mustard Seed to support people in need this winter. If you’d like to contribute, please bring items with you to the event — such as warm clothes, blankets, or brand-new socks and underwear.
Volunteers Needed
Events like Light Up Legacy are only possible because of volunteers. If you’re not afraid of the cold and want to help spread some holiday cheer, we’d love to have you on the team for this special evening.
