Dear Legacy Community Members,

As we get into the vibrancy of spring, I am excited to share some updates with you!

Easter Egg-Stravaganza

One of our most anticipated events is the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza, which brings together the community for a day of family-friendly fun! As always, the event will take place on the Saturday of the Easter weekend (Saturday, April 19, 2025), and we are eager to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. Please stay tuned for details on how to register!

Egg-Stravaganza Volunteers Needed!

Planning for the Easter Egg-Stravaganza is already underway, and we are calling on our wonderful community members to lend a helping hand. We need volunteers to assist with various aspects of planning that make the event a success every year.

In addition to planning volunteers, we also need day-of-volunteers who can help set up, manage activities, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

To sign up as a volunteer, please visit our website or email us at [email protected].

Other Recruitment Positions

We are also currently recruiting for the following positions:

• Event Leads: We need enthusiastic individuals to take the lead on organizing and executing our community events. If you have a passion for event planning and community engagement, we would love to have you on board.

• Advisor for Sponsorships and Business Partnerships: This role involves building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and sponsors to support our events and programs.

If you or someone you know is interested in any of these positions, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Planning and Development

Finally, I would also like to thank everyone who participated in the recent planning and development engagements. Your attention and input on the 210 Ave proposed interchange designs, the proposed extension of the Redline LRT, and the ROYOP proposed Area Structure Plan amendments have been very helpful. As community members, it is crucial that we share our opinions with the City and the developers to shape the future of Legacy.

Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make this spring season one to remember!

Kind regards,

Sarah Peck
