Dear Legacy Community Members,
Happy New Year! As we step into 2025, I am filled with excitement for the wonderful events and opportunities that lie ahead for our community. I hope you all had a joyous holiday season.
I want to share an important update regarding our annual Family Skate event. After some consideration, we have decided that we require one to two dedicated volunteers to take lead on this event. We would provide the lead volunteers with direction on how to request sponsorship funds from local businesses and a to-do list of all of the elements it takes to make the event a success. If you are interested in still making this event happen, please reach out to us at [email protected]!
In addition to our events, we are looking to expand our team and bring in new talent to help us continue to grow and thrive. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
• Grant Writer: We are seeking a grant writer to help us secure funding for our various community projects and initiatives.
• Advisor for Sponsorships and Business Partnerships: This role involves building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and sponsors to support our events, programs, and membership discounts.
• Event Leads: We need enthusiastic individuals to take the lead on organizing and executing our community events. If you have a passion for event planning and community engagement, we would love to have you on board.
