We Can’t Be Together, But We Will Never Be Apart
When we look back at our lives a month ago, who would’ve thought that we would be facing what we are right now? Unprecedented times leading to unprecedented measures that have changed our routines completely. The way we connect with our extended family and friends, the way we work now, the way our kids learn and the way we see the world…everything has changed.
But aside from all the craziness and negative feelings that we all face at some points, this time away from others has been key to help us grow together with our close loved ones and also with our community. Even if we can’t hug each other, virtual hugs have been floating on our social media community groups. We cannot get together but we still gather virtually to play, share recipes, do workout sessions, and take dance lessons. Our community has shown through this time that we’ll always have each others’ backs! Thanks to our brave neighbours who take a trip to Costco and shop for other families! Thanks to all our neighbours who are just a call or a text away to help others with their talented skills to do home repairs, take photos, or fix something.
Thanks to all Legacians who work on the front line and keep our city moving; your work at hospitals, stores and other places has a tremendous value for all of us. Thanks to all the stores in our community that are still, somehow, operating to satisfy our needs, and thanks to the home businesses who are getting creative to keep their operations going. Thanks to builders and developers that believe in our community. Special thanks to Westcreek for sponsoring this month’s newsletter, otherwise we could not have delivered it to your homes; thanks for keeping us connected. We definitely are in this together, and together we will continue supporting each and everyone in our community! At the end of the day, if you ever need any type of support or know someone who does, remember that we, too, are just an email away! [email protected]
