Welcome to the McKenzie Lake Residents Association Website!
The McKenzie Lake Residents Association (MLRA) is the private organization that manages the facilities in and around McKenzie Lake for the exclusive use of members and their guests. Membership is tied to your property title and as such it enhances the value of your property and your community experience.
We are financed through annual fees from our members, and we balance keeping the fees low with maintaining the facilities at a safe and adequate level. It is our intention to ensure our grounds provide enjoyment for all members and are kept beautifully for a very long time!
The facilities have so much to offer for members of all ages. In the summer the lake is perfect for family swimming, fishing, non-motorized boating, basketball, beach volleyball, and other games available to sign out at the guard hut. Don’t forget to enjoy our tennis courts where you can play tennis or pickleball on our newly resurfaced courts from sunup to sundown.
In the winter, the facilities host several activities such as skating, tobogganing, and ice fishing. The MLRA is responsible for maintaining the skating track around the lake that is enjoyed by members when the weather permits. The Association also hosts a Family Fun Day and a Winter Carnival yearly enjoyed by all. The clubhouse is available to rent for members’ private functions and various programs are hosted sponsored by the Association.
