We unfortunately had to cancel our Oktoberfest adult-only event, due to low interest; we will continue to plan family-friendly events.
Join us this month with our kick off to the holidays, our annual Christmas Craft Market on November 15 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. This market has something for everyone; please bring cash and card as some vendors only accept cash.
Our joint venture with Deer Ridge Community Association is also fast approaching. Our Children’s Christmas Party takes place on Saturday, November 29 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm, come visit with neighbours and Santa. This free event comes with activities for children ages 3 to 12, crafts, bouncy castle, and light snacks.
Memberships are currently on sale at the community centre.
Senior’s Friendship Club still meets on Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Jensen room, admission is $2 (please note the change in start and end time).
Good Food Boxes are still for sale; contact Linda Brown to place your order.
Upcoming Events
Our biggest fundraiser is almost here; we will be looking for volunteers to help us with our Casino. It will be scheduled during January to March; official date will be announced shortly.
Family Winter Party to be announced in the next newsletter usually takes place in January or February.
