Tell us about your experience with Riverbend’s playgrounds through our Playground Survey. You can find it online on our website. The survey will close in mid-October.
- Clubs & Programs in your Community!
Are you ready for intermediate knitting, or maybe just a casual glass of wine during craft club? If you’re looking for something more active, try one of our in-house fitness classes. Opportunities to connect with others include our Seniors Club, Lions Club, Toastmasters, Mission Hill Church, and Church of Christ. We also have a new weekly children’s ministry program called Awana that started in September.
- Riverbend Fall Fair (Market): Saturday, November 2, 2019
Get your shopping done early at the Annual Riverbend Fall Fair. We have many great local vendors participating this year, with a variety of handcrafted items available, such as baked goods, knitting, crocheting, jewelry, sewing, quilting, pottery, wood, and glass items. (Please note, all vendor tables have been sold for this event)
The Riverbend School Parent Council will also be running a drop off bottle drive and concession. So, bring your bags of bottles and cans to the truck outside the venue, and stop in for a bite to eat to support the Riverbend School Playground Fundraiser!
- Community Meeting: Tuesday, November 19, 2019
Our Annual General Meeting is a great opportunity to find out about issues impacting your community. We need 5% of members to attend in order to make it a valid meeting. Come meet your RCA Directors, vote on new bylaws, hear updates about our strategic plan, and network with your neighbours. Council and City of Calgary representatives will be present as well. Snacks and beverages will be available, and meetings are kid-friendly!
