Casino Volunteers Needed – November 10 and 11, 2020
Did you know that running a casino is our biggest single income source outside of restricted grant funding? Our casino funds support a number of things, including program resource materials, hall operating costs, insurance, repairs, maintenance, and renovations. As our hall is aging, these costs continue to consume our limited resources but are essential to provide a hub for our community activities and offerings.
Volunteering for the casino is easy and fun, with training and support provided during your shift. Volunteers are provided with a free meal during their shift and a discount code for RCA programs, events, and memberships.

Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm.
Why should you attend the AGM?
- Meet RCA Directors face to face.
- Vote on new RCA by-laws.
- Vote in election of new Directors.
- Hear about RCA financial situation.
- Hear updates about RCA Strategic Plan 2019-2021.
- Network with your neighbors.
- Hear updates about issues impacting your community.
The meeting will look differently this year, as we need to limit attendance to comply with COVID-19 indoor meeting guidelines. Only members will be invited to attend in person and vote on official RCA business matters (pre-registration will be required). However, everyone in the community will be able to join the meeting virtually! Community Hockey Rink Makeover
We have a small but mighty team of volunteers ready to lead the renovation project of the community hockey rink. We would like to ensure that the space is designed for multipurpose uses so community members can enjoy it throughout all the seasons.
