Li-ho, eh! I’m Zoe, a seven-year-old Shiba Inu and the newest furry face in Willow Park. You’ve probably seen me strutting beside Piper—you know, the grumpy elder statesman of the neighbourhood.
I started out on the busy streets of Taiwan, then flew to Vancouver, and finally cruised into Willow Park by car—my favourite way to travel. No more kennels for me! These days, I enjoy cozy beds, endless belly rubs, and my own spot on the couch (which I graciously share with my humans).
Now I’m living the Canadian dream. Snow? Weird but fun. Magpies? Rude, but entertaining. Maple bacon? Life-changing.
I’m easy to spot – look for the elegant Shiba with the stunning white coat and welcoming grin. Unlike most Shibas (looking at you, Piper), I’m very sociable. I love kids, adults, dogs… basically, if you have a heartbeat, I’m your friend. My motto? New friends mean more attention.
This is my first year in Canada, and I have to say, Willow Park is pretty pawsome. I enjoy long naps and showing off my international elegance at the dog park.
When I’m not keeping Piper on his toes, I enjoy people watching and dramatically refusing to walk when I feel I’ve done enough. It’s a Shiba thing.
Tail wags,
Zoe
