The MLCA Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday, October 15, starting at 7pm at the MLCA Upper Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend, however only members in good standing as of 45 days prior to the meeting are eligible to vote at the meeting. Although most of our board members will be continuing in their roles, there are still a few board positions to fill. Please contact Catherine at [email protected] if you are interested in becoming involved as a volunteer, a committee member or a board member.
Coming up in October is our fun-filled Oktoberfest on Friday, October 12. Join us for an evening of food, beverages and live music all for only $30 per ticket. Please see the MLCA website for details and to register – bring your friends!
Did you know the MLCA Hall is a great place to hold an event? Please consider renting the Hall for your next birthday party, office event or other celebration. Call Jacquie at 403-244-5411 ext. 1 for details.
Marda Loop has a vibrant seniors’ group that meets at the Hall from 9am to 12:30pm on the first Monday of each month. Contact Heather at [email protected] to participate in a variety of activities including light exercise, guest presentations, board games, social interaction and more.
