Now that September has arrived, you may be looking for opportunities to volunteer and get more involved in your community. With our Annual General Meeting coming up on Monday, October 21, now is a great time for you to get involved – as a volunteer, a committee member or as a board member. Also, remember to buy an MLCA membership, as only those with a valid membership are eligible to vote at the AGM.
We have an exciting offering of events for all ages this fall. We will build on the success of last year’s Oktoberfest by holding it again on Friday, October 4. Buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment, as we expect to sell out. We are bringing back Fireside Chats, with the first event of the year planned for Wednesday, October 16. And we will have a Beer and Cheese Tasting on Friday, November 1.
We also have a very full offering of programs which are open for fall registration, including Yoga, Idea Lab, Seniors in the Loop, Swim Club, Playgroup, Preschool, and Prancing Peanuts.
