Spring is a time of new beginnings -and we are excited to be launching a new program at the Braeside Community Association – the Braeside Passion Project!
The Braeside Passion Project is a monthly opportunity for community members to step into the spotlight and share something that lights them up! It could be a skill you’ve mastered, a cause you care deeply about, a creative hobby, a personal story, a cultural tradition, or even an idea you’re exploring. If it matters to you, it matters here.
This is not about perfection or performance. It is about connection.
Each month, neighbours will have the opportunity to showcase their passion in a welcoming, supportive environment. Some sessions might look like mini workshops. Others might feel like story circles, demonstrations, or conversations that spark new ideas. The format is flexible because passion does not come in one shape or size!
At its heart, this initiative is meant to remind us that a community is not just a collection of houses. It is a living network of talents, stories, dreams, and commitments. When we create space for those to be shared and for curiosity to thrive, we do more than fill a date on the calendar. We strengthen the threads that hold us together.
