On Saturday, March 8 over 70 guests stopped by the Lloyd Hand Hall to share their memories and good wishes to Stan and Heather on their retirement after 37 years of operating the Canyon Meadows Bakery.
Many great memories were shared with the McCutcheon family from long-time customers. The memorabilia table had a wonderful display of the many milestones celebrated by the Canyon Meadows Bakery. Diana Batten, the MLA for Calgary-Acadia riding presented a scroll to Stan and Heather celebrating their 37 years as a much-loved local business.
If you were unable to stop by the farewell event, keep your eyes open while out and about in the neighbourhood because you are likely to run into Heather and Stan walking around and enjoying the community they still call home.
