Taking advantage of all the extra foot traffic through the Centre during the Christmas market our community Board of Directors hosted a raffle to raise funds for our community. The highlight was an exquisite homemade gingerbread house built by local creative genius Brent, a centrepiece for all the crafts and baking on display. The winner chose to remain anonymous as they immediately donated the gingerbread house to a local school so that even more funds could be raised. That’s the real Cedarbrae spirit in action! Other prizes included a generous gift certificate to Compass vacations (won by Deborah) along with a HaTien gift card and Cedarbrae Dental gift basket (won by Mattias). A big thank you to the volunteers who manned the raffle table and the local businesses that made it possible! The funds we raise go directly back into our Community Centre and the programs we run.
