Our Cedarbrae seniors’ group has done it again with a big Thanksgiving celebration! Meant for those who don’t have an opportunity to attend or host a family celebration, the event was well attended with all the joyful hallmarks of Canadian Thanksgiving. The occasion featured a deliciously catered turkey dinner, spirited conversation, and live music kindly provided by Inga on her accordion.
Everyone pitched in at the end for tear-down and clean-up, many hands making light work and creating a real family atmosphere. It was enough of a success that we hope to do it all again this month for a Christmas dinner! Thanks to everyone who attended for making our Community Centre feel like home!
