Hi Neighbors:

A big thank you to all of our amazing sponsors and event planners; Dawn, Robin, Lisa and the rest of the team for making the Dueling Piano King’s event such a huge success. The pictures and stories told showed it was a fantastic night, one that included $9,000 in funds raised. Who’s got the next great event idea?

As you may have heard, we are getting close to finalizing our fundraising and grant applications for the tennis courts to finally get resurfaced. The plan, should we get the go-ahead, is for two tennis courts and two pickle ball courts. This process will keep the courts closed for about a month this spring but will be a huge asset to the community once complete. Keep a look out for more developments and programming and if you have any questions, contact Lindsey Stene at [email protected].

Heritage Soccer registration will be done online this year and is available for the month of March on our website http://ckecommunity.com/. If you have questions regarding soccer or want to volunteer, you can reach out to Lindsay Mandry at [email protected].

We are also continuing to recruit some new members for the CKE Community Association Board. We have a few members who are stepping down in May and we need to fill some roles. If you have any interest, please reach out. For more information, you can contact any of us at [email protected]. This is a great opportunity to give back and help shape the future of the CKE.

Don’t forget to think about the new facility for any of your upcoming events, there are lots of different room options to accommodate different needs. Also, as the weather gets nicer, get out and spend some time at the local businesses. They’ve been great supporters of our events; Empire, Original Joe’s, Browns Social House and The Goose, just to name a few.
