Happy June!
Wow I can’t believe it is June already; we are finally getting some warm weather! Summer is so much fun in the CKE communities, as we have so much to offer in terms of parks/playgrounds, sports facilities, as well as our proximity to the Glenmore reservoir and Heritage Park. I just love biking around the Glenmore reservoir loop. It is such a great accessible pathway to our community. June is also a great time to dust off the patio furniture and spend more time outdoors.
I wanted to take this opportunity to mention the various openings we have on the CKE board. If you are looking for a way to make a difference in our communities, joining the board is a great way to do so. We currently have a few openings on the board that will allow you to collaborate with some great people and help make the CKE better for all. We have some great programs/events every month, from markets to social gatherings. Make sure to keep up to date by visiting our website, www.ckecommunity.com. If you would like access to the tennis courts, visit the website as well!
Also, a reminder that our CKE community hall is a fabulous place to host events! It can accommodate corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, social events, and more! It is available for rent at an hourly or daily rate, so please get in touch with Jen at [email protected] if this interests you.
I also wanted to remind everyone of the CKE AGM meeting which takes place on June 15 at 7:00 pm at the CKE hall.
