September Events and Programs
Movie in the Park

See page X for event details. We are looking for Sponsorships to help cover costs. Email [email protected] if you would like to get involved.
Parade of Garage Sales
September 20 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Thinking of having a garage sale this year? Host on September 20 and be part of our Parade of Garage Sales! This gives people the opportunity to shop on one day and takes the pressure of signage and marketing off you! You will still host at your own residence, but we will make a map of all registered garage sales in the area.
Registration: You must have a valid CHPH community association membership to register your garage sale.
Registration closes September 8. Email [email protected] to register!
Garage sale hopping? Follow us on Facebook and Instagram or keep an eye on our website for the garage sale maps. We will also have printed maps available for pickup at 711 in Coach Hill Plaza by September 18.

Past Events and Fundraisers
CHPH and Prominence Retirement Stampede Breakfast
Thank you to our wonderful community who stepped up to help with our Stampede Breakfast. Thank you to Jacqueline and the staff at the Prominence Way Retirement Centre for co-hosting this popular event with us! We had approximately 1,000 residents attend this years’ event.
Other Updates
Pickleball and Tennis
We have been contacted about misconduct complaints occurring at the tennis courts on Patina Dr SW. We would like to answer a few questions:
• We have two City of Calgary public courts in our community. Any member of the public is welcome to use these courts.
• These courts are not reservable, but we appreciate the community’s patience while we had facilitated a community ‘Learn to Play Pickleball’ program for six weeks at these courts.
• One side of these courts have painted pickleball lines; however, tennis and pickleball are allowed to be played on either court as residents see fit.
Respect is paramount to continued use of the courts. If you are met with verbal or physical threats from any group of players, please call the police non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 to file a report while the incident is occurring. Court etiquette rules state limiting your games to 30 minutes if you see a group of players waiting for use of these courts. These courts are frequently empty most evenings, please check back for court availability. Courts are first-come-first-served.
Pickleball is a noisy sport, so we kindly ask the public to observe City of Calgary noise bylaws and finish your game by 10:00 pm.
