Coach Hill’s Recycling and Community Cleanup Event on June 16

It’s officially spring, and time to clear out the clutter.

Bring your scrap metal, old, small appliances, clothing, and more to the Annual Spring Recycling Event. This year we are co-hosting the event with West Springs/Cougar Ridge.

Date: Sunday, June 16

Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Location: French International School Parking Lot (700 77 St SW)

*Note that this is a new address this year

We Will Collect:

Clothing, metals and scrap, electronics and appliances, usable furniture and household items, and beverage containers.

We Cannot Accept:

Tires, household chemicals, car batteries, propane tanks, paint products, hazardous materials, furniture, large appliances (such as freezers, fridges, ovens, stoves, washers, dryers), or paper (no shredding available at this event).

Thanks to Our Partners:

• City of Calgary Community Standards – accepting household scrap and compost materials.

• Shanked Computers – accepting computers and electronics.

• Re-Matt (Kid Seat Recycling) – accepting bed mattresses ($25 each), box springs ($25 each), and car seats ($20 each).

• Women in Need – accepting usable household items, appliances, and utensils.

Note also that some items may require an additional fee for disposal. Not everything is free so come prepared with cash.
