Yahoo! Thank you to everyone who came out to our Stampede Breakfast on July 9 at the Prominence Way Retirement Community. Together with our community partners, the Stampede Breakfast was a wild success, boasting over 1,000 attendees. We want to thank all of the volunteers who helped make this event possible.
We recognize the hard work of Jacqueline Moffat and her team from the Prominence Way Retirement Community who graciously partnered with the Coach Hill Patterson Heights Community Association to bring this event to life.
We thank Dr. Kenny and the Coach Hill Dental team for sponsoring a face painter and balloon artist for the event.
Thank you to Station 29 for bringing out one of their fire trucks for the event! Kids had an absolute blast touring the truck!
We would also like to thank our Ward 6 Councillor Richard Pootmans and Calgary-Bow MLA Demetrios Nicolaides for their sponsorship and attendance for the event.
Last Day of School Craft Table and YYC Food Trucks
We celebrated CBE’s last day of school on June 29 with food trucks and a “taste the rainbow craft” by local artist Melisa Centofanti. Thank you, Melisa, for your knowledge and engagement with the community! It was a fun event, although short due to a storm. We look forward to more fun events like this to encourage residents to engage and connect with their neighbours!
