For just $25 per household, your DRCA membership fuels the programs, facilities, events, and advocacy that keep Discovery Ridge vibrant, safe, and connected.
And here’s the truth:
The more members we have, the stronger our voice:
• With municipal and provincial governments.
• With Calgary Police Service.
• With developers.
• With environmental stakeholders.
Numbers matter — and your membership strengthens our influence.
Because of your support last year, the following are some of the things we were able to bring you:
• Host a Community Cleanup alongside neighbouring communities.
• Work with CPS to address speeding and traffic safety concerns.
• Meet with key agencies to advocate for wildfire mitigation and protect our beautiful Griffith Woods.
• Maintain our Recreation Facility for skating, shinny, pickleball, tennis, and everyday outdoor fun.
• Bring you three signature community events: Stampede Roundup, Music in the Park, and Santa in Discovery Ridge (75 happy kids!)
• Advocate for new pathways and the restoration of the Elbow Valley Constructed Wetlands
