Dear Evergreen residents,
As we welcome the new year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible spirit of community that has made the past year truly special. 2024 has been a year filled with moments of connection, collaboration, and care, and we couldn’t be more grateful for each of you who has contributed to making our community a wonderful place to live.
Whether you volunteered your time, supported local initiatives, or simply greeted a neighbour with kindness, your efforts have made a lasting impact. It’s because of this collective support that we continue to thrive together, and we look forward to continuing this journey with all of you in the year ahead.
On behalf of the board of directors of the Calgary Evergreen Community Association (CECA), I would like to thank all of the Evergreen residents who participated in our annual Christmas Lights Contest. I would also like to thank Canadian Tire in Shawnessy for their continuous sponsorship of the contest. A huge thank you goes to the contest judges for their assistance.
As we move into 2025, CECA is excited to share that we have our plans for the year ahead for community events and programs designed to bring us even closer together where we all will have the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow. CECA is looking for feedback from the community to organize activities for neurodivergent children that are fun, inclusive, and sensory-friendly.
