As we welcome the new year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful community spirit that shaped 2025. This past year has been full of connection, resilience, and kindness. These qualities continue to define Evergreen as one of Calgary’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Whether you volunteered, attended events, supported local initiatives, or simply shared a smile with a neighbour, every contribution has strengthened our sense of belonging.
Christmas Light Contest
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Calgary Evergreen Community Association (CECA), I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in our annual Christmas Lights Contest. Your creativity and holiday spirit truly brightened our streets. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Canadian Tire in Shawnessy for their ongoing sponsorship and to our dedicated volunteer judges for their time and effort.
As we move into 2026, CECA is excited to continue building on this momentum with a new lineup of community programs, events, and opportunities to connect.
