At the June 15 Neighbour Day and Hall Reopening, the Board was very proud to recognize two Glendale residents, Jennifer and Robert Palmer, as our Volunteers of the Year. Jennifer and Robert are there when Glendale needs them – casino, community cleanup, rink flooding, and more. They have had their hands on shaping what is great about our community.
With the ceremony on the same day that the City declared a state of emergency related to the watermain repair, Robert noted, “Community is a living, breathing thing that needs to be fed and watered…except please hold off on the watering part for this week!”
Thank you for everything, Jennifer and Robert – we look forward to continuing to be in community with you.
