Glendale’s Classic Car for December: 1934 Plymouth Pickup

Chrysler introduced the Plymouth in 1928 to compete with Ford & Chevrolet. They were instantly popular and priced a few dollars less. They sold well.

By 1934 they tried their hand at building pickups, calling them a Quarter-ton.

The one pictured here was restored by Darrell, then built into a street rod. It’s a big hit with its factory suicide doors and hood opening from each side.
