Dear neighbours,
Going for an evening walk accompanied by a podcast is one of my favourite ways to relax after a long day. But, as a result of the cooler weather and fewer hours of daylight, I have been spending more nights in front of the fireplace with a good book instead.
I hope you have managed to stay cozy as well, and despite the chaos of this past year, are able to take a moment away from all the hustle and bustle of December to reflect on any unexpected silver linings that you have experienced in 2020. This year, I am grateful that I have been able to spend more time with my family, catching precious moments of my three-year-old’s life that I otherwise would have missed. And I love being able to sit down for lunch daily with my husband, as we have both been working from home.
It’s been a tough year for so many, but there have been some silver linings, and I am hopeful that better things are coming our way in 2021.
