In June, community gardeners and volunteers worked to move and spread two truckloads of mulch for our garden that was generously donated by the City of Calgary Parks department. Spreading mulch helps our shared growing space by improving the soil health, keeping weeds under control, retaining moisture for our growing plants – and helps the space look its best! We are always looking for more members interested in gardening or helping out from time to time. Email [email protected].
