Haysboro Haunted Hall
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped organize and run the Haysboro Haunted Hall. We were so thrilled to bring back this spooktacular favourite this year. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Amber and Azure and the theatre team, and the 118 Boy Scouts and 137 Girl Guides for making this happen for the kids!
Haysboro Winter Market
The Haysboro Winter Market is on November 29 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This festive event is always a highlight of the season, filled with local vendors, holiday cheer, and the perfect opportunity to gather as a community. You won’t want to miss it! If you’d like to join us as a vendor, please visit our website or email [email protected]. We will also be collecting for our book sale until November 27, so please drop off your gently used fiction books during office hours.
Parenting Workshops
Join Julie Freedman Smith of Parent Mentor Now and learn five key tools to help your family adapt to the challenges of screens and phones, decrease the battles, and keep your kids safe! The session is from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on November 12 in the HCA Social Lounge. Register online.
Seniors Lunch and Learn
Join us at the HCA on November 20 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for our next Lunch and Learn. Enjoy a nourishing lunch (free or by donation) while Iris Spurrell from Carya presents “Savvy Spending – Being a Wise Consumer”. Just in time to prepare for holiday spending. Energy Efficiency Workshops
In partnership with Green Calgary and Enmax, we’re excited to offer the Advanced Energy Efficiency Workshop on November 26 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. In this session, we will explore real world examples of Deep Energy Retrofits, Heat Pumps, and Solar Energy. Reserve your spot online today.
Community Holiday Luncheon
