March is finally here! There is lots of buzz at the hall for spring and the Haysboro community has so much to offer. I encourage you to check out our website at haysboro.org and browse our multitude of programs. Sign up for a free membership and receive community information straight to your inbox. There are so many great opportunities to try something new with one of our local partners who operates out of the hall.
The Haysboro Community preschool has an open house on March 1. Online registration for the 2025/2026 season opens on March 8, 2025. Spots for our three-to-four-year-old classes often fill up fast so be sure to register early so you don’t miss out on your choice time. It’s a wonderful way for neighbourhood children (and caregivers) to get to know each other.
We will also be having a Jellybean Dance for kids and teens on March 16. Drop the kids off and socialize in the lounge with some snacks and drinks while the kids are dancing up a storm in the hall. It’ll be a great time!
The preschool has also run multiple successful bottle drives and raised over $1,000 since September 2024! So, hang onto your empties and keep your eyes out for signs around the neighbourhood. The next bottle drive will be on April 12 in the community hall parking lot.
Mark your calendars, we will be having our annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 19. Registration for specific times and ages will be available online. Also, we are starting to plan our community time capsule opening Neighbour Day party in June. More information will be coming soon.
