Greetings,
I hope you are enjoying time off, vacations, and time with family through this summer season. Enjoy it! Before you know it, kids will be back to school and many of us back to the daily grind. This is a quick update since the board has taken the month of August off. We’ll be back to regular meetings on September 18.
I do have an important update, however. We had a great turnout for the Annual General Meeting, and I’d like to thank those who attended. I would also like to thank those who have stepped up to join the board! I am pleased to report that we now have 12 board members for this year. I can’t wait to kick off the new year in September with our new members.
I am also very grateful to have been elected to the role of President for the 2024-2025 year and look forward to serving the association. No doubt, there are big shoes to fill. However, we have a great team of board members and I know I’ll be well supported through this inaugural term.
