Crime Prevention and Safety

Youthlink – Have You Ever Heard of It?

If you ask them, this is what they have to say:

“YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre is a dynamic, cutting-edge police

museum that brings to life the stories of the Calgary Police Service from its earliest

history to modern-day policing. As a non-profit organization, crime prevention,

community policing, and education are at the heart of everything that we do.

Our interpretive centre delivers innovative programming and events for youth, families,

and the wider community, tackling critical issues such as personal safety, youth crime,

online risks, and healthy decision-making. Community connection is fundamental to

who we are. Whether through our in-centre education programs, grade six field trips,

Police School, or outreach initiatives, their priority is to equip individuals and the

community with the practical tools and real-world strategies to help them stay safe and

informed.

We are proud to be a pillar of crime prevention and early intervention strategies,

delivering impactful evidence-informed education programs that support youth,

families, and the broader community. By fostering awareness, resilience, and positive

connections, YouthLink plays a vital role in building informed and safer communities.

In collaboration with the Calgary Police Service, YouthLink delivers innovative

programming and events for youth, families, and the wider community, tackling critical

issues such as personal safety, youth crime, online risks, and healthy decision

making”.
