March is the month of our largest fundraiser of the year, taking place on March 16 and 17 at Pure Casino. Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet your neighbours, see the inner workings of a casino, and enjoy a free meal. No experience is required, and it’s never too late to sign up. Kingsland Preschool is now open for registration for 3- and 4-year-olds, with morning and afternoon classes running from September to June. Located in the lower level of the Kingsland Community Association, the preschool follows the Reggio Emilia philosophy, fostering a thoughtful and engaging learning environment. This affordable option could be a wonderful start to your child’s learning journey.
As the landscape of Kingsland continues to change rapidly, we’d also like to remind residents that the Kingsland Community Association Planning Committee – a dedicated group of resident volunteers – reviews development proposals in our neighbourhood, gathers community input, and provides feedback to both developers and The City when needed.
