Things can and do change, and quickly. The newsletter is not frequent enough to communicate things that are changing on short notice in regards to the community association, the community centre, and community events.

CBMCA Board Update
Bruno Frost has stepped down from the board. We thank him for his service to the community.
Ted Knudtson has returned to the Board as a Director at large. We look forward to working with him again.
Recruiting a Couple Positions
The Social Director and Heritage Director positions are vacant. There is more information elsewhere in this newsletter on these positions. If anyone is interested in exploring these positions, please contact me at [email protected].
Check Out Our Community Gardens
At the time of writing (July) the community gardens are starting to show very well.
History Book Available at Community Events
We have sold over 650 copies of our award-winning history book. Learn about the history of your community in a very readable text with lots of pictures and maps. Cost is still $30 (basically cost recovery). Copies are available at all events at the community centre.
No Community Events in August
Just like City Council, we are taking a break in August. Community events will restart in September. In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy the summer.
