Genevieve is an improvisational jazz, blues, and jazzy pop singer. A musical explorer, a lover of unique arrangements, original pieces, and collaborations. She found she had a natural improvisational talent, and a burning desire to add a jazzy take on a modern tune or two. She can be found collaborating with various awesome musicians around town.
The Cliff Bungalow – Mission jazz series this year is an exciting opportunity to reunite with some of her favourite musicians, Andrea Petrity, Tyler Reimer, Stefano Valdo, Madu Aul, Peter Strietman, and Jane Dodds. Her Cliff-Bungalow-Mission cadre of incredibly talented musicians also like to take creative risks and explore new musical experiences.
The program will explore pieces by musicians from various genres including Van Morrison, Jim Croce, and Mike Rud, with possibly a little original expression. Oh yes, and a standard or two.
