What a summer it has been in Calgary!

• Water rationing after a major water infrastructure failure.

• A surprise revision of the application to develop green space at Glenmore Landing with even more people on site, and unreasonably short deadline for submissions, while withholding records needed for meaningful response.

• Our recycling event at the Community Centre.

• Our first coding camp for teens.

• Announcement of more water rationing starting in September while replacing more water supply infrastructure discovered to be failing.

• Provincial Government attention to City efforts to force densification upon the people of Calgary, against their will while infrastructure seems inadequate to accommodate it.

• Our court action against the city is proceeding.

• War continuing in the Ukraine and in the Middle East, with propaganda filling the media.

But we had some rain in early August to restore some green to our lawns and gardens.

The farmers will have a good harvest.

Life goes on.

The school year begins again.

Our thanks to all of you for your commitment to democracy and protection of our rights, and especially for your contributions to support these things by contributing to the legal costs of the court proceeding.

Your help with legal costs will be appreciated.
