Community Hall Closed – Aside from Pedalheads Summer Camp
Our community hall is still mostly closed pending further COVID-19 changes and guidelines for small gatherings. However, we have agreed to host the Pedalheads summer camps. This is an allowed activity and this organization has an excellent set of protocols to deal with social distancing and proper sanitation to keep their campers safe. We hope to slowly bring in other groups where it makes sense, but will require similar, comprehensive safety protocols that adhere to Provincial and Civic requirements.
Happy 90th Birthday to PBP Volunteer, Cal Melrose
Cal Melrose is a board member of the PBP Community Association and is the engine behind keeping our facility up and running. You will see him at the Hall regularly supervising or completing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. Cal was recently recognized in the Faces of Community by the Federation of Calgary Communities for his volunteer work. He is turning 90 soon, and we wish to recognize this milestone birthday and thank him for his hard work. We all hope to have a fraction of Cal’s energy at 90!
